I want to look at some of the subconscious factors in a little more detail. In that previous article we looked at the major histocompatibility complex and the sniff test. It's the way Thais show affection, not from tasting (the western kiss), but from inhaling deeply the tantalizing smell and pheromones of the one who is loved. We also saw that hormonal contraceptives can upset the selection process.
